The Visual Communications-Media Design program at Madison College trains students to work in the fantastic, creative, exciting field of media. We offer courses from basic storyboard, to advanced level video production. Our students are competitive, and employable all over the country. Take a look!

Certificates do not require an application to the college. Students register for individual courses during the open registration period each semester.

Video Production Intern Wanted

The South Central Federation of Labor is looking for a video production intern to assist them in creating a video blog for their website. Approximately 5-10 hours a week. This is an unpaid internship.

The goal of the video blog is to interview union members about what being in a union means to them. However, the intern would get to pick the questions, the interview subjects, as well as have creative freedom on video editing, etc. They are hoping that this will get them more press.

Video Production Student Project Opportunity

Ironman
Volunteer Kayak Captains for this year’s Ironman Wisconsin want to create a short video (film, edit, and voice over) that would show kayak volunteers assisting triathletes in the water. They would be filming at Rutabaga Paddlesports. The video would be sent to kayak volunteers as part of their swim safety volunteer training. The video would be in the 8-10 minute range.
